  • Prof Tony Lewis, Chief Technical Officer of OceanEnergy, has been awarded the 2023 Vi Maris Award. The announcement of this prestigious industry award was made during the OEE2023 Conference and Exhibition in The Hague. Vi Maris, meaning ‘power of the sea’, is an industry award established by Ocean Energy Europe (OEE), which recognizes the outstanding contribution of an individual to the ocean energy sector.   • Prof Tony Lewis represented WEDUSEA at Ocean Energy Europe ’23 (OEE23), which took place on 24th-25th October.
    This event is a major meeting point for the ocean energy sector. Prof Tony Lewis co-chaired the session ‘Making Strong Connections – Subhubs, Cables and Moorings’ on 25th October.
