WEDUSEA partners University of Plymouth and EMEC attended Westminster Insight’s Clean Power Conference on 26th June 2025 in London.

Chaired by EDF Renewables and with contributions from a range of UK experts in renewable energy, including members of the Government’s new 2030 Clean Power Advisory Committee and Energy UK, the conference explored forthcoming changes to energy planning, policy, and funding for clean energy technologies, including wave energy.

Two articles have also been published on the WEDUSEA website this month, written by Prof Lars Johanning of University of Plymouth. One is on the history of wave energy and one draws parallels between WEDUSEA and the development of floating offshore wind in the Celtic Sea, which hit an important milestone this month. You can read both articles here. https://wedusea.eu/blog/
